A heat pump boiler works much more efficiently and saves more energy than a traditional heating system based on fossil fuels. With Altherma, 1kW of electricity consumption generates 3 kW to 5 kW of free heat. As a result, the CO2 emissions generated for your heating can be reduced by up to 57%, compared to a traditional combustion based fuel boiler or by 28% compared to a condensing gas boiler
In addition an optional solar collector can be used in combination allowing the sun to provide 30 – 70% of the energy required for our hot water needs!
In an existing property with low temperature heat emitters, (Radiators) there is no need to change them, under floor heating and fan coil units can also be used.
